The Ministry of External Affairs of India in 2023 stated, 1, 32, 44, 954 international students are pursuing their studies abroad. The appeal to study overseas has not decreased despite the diplomatic relations becoming more heated and immigration laws tightening. There have been several obstructions such as Covid-19 shutdowns, the housing issues crisis in Australia and Canada, and the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
