How is the exam conducted?
IELTS is designed in different modules namely Listening, Reading, Writing & Speaking. The test assesses your language abilities in these four areas. The exam is conducted by the IDP Authority every month and there are two formats for the same i.e. PBT (Pen & Paper Based Test) and CBT (Computer Based Test).

As mentioned earlier, IELTS comes in two formats; Academic and General. Academic is for students who want to pursue their higher education outside of India, and the General is for students who want to migrate to another country on a work visa.
